I am Dr. Benito G. Mercado,a Filipino Optometrist working as an Optometrist here in Riyadh K.S.A. was born in Concepcion,Romblon Philippines. married to a beautiful wife named Venus. Blessed by God with nine wonderful intelligent children. plus a daughter in law and a very cute grand daughter named Chelsie Nicole. i play Chess because I love this wonderful game. though i am antique in years but this game makes me feel younger. i've learned Chess at sixteen when i was graduating in High School. my classmate Rico Rafols, who was then our valedictorian taught me just how to move every chess peices.i was enthusiastic to learn more on how to win the game i used to watch our town old folks play the game. and when i studied in college. i tried to learn more by going to a nearby bookstore to read articles about Chess.
