Learned chess as a kid from my uncle, who apparently trained under a grand master. I'm not sure which one. I still remember my first games against him. Blunder: "David Hamilton, come on down!" as my queen disappeared from the board... Until that fateful day: "Uncle Doug, come on down!"
My family still brings it up at family reunions.
