Hello. I currently live in Sioux Falls, SD but was born and raised just to the south in Nebraska. I am a meteorologist which pays the bills. Hobbywise, I of course LOVE chess, amateur astronomy, baseball, hiking and walleye fishing in Lake of the Woods Ontario. I also love reading history. I learned how to play chess years ago in the 5th grade, and played throughout high school and college. Then job career starting and racing bicycles took precedent and I fell away from chess. I am now happy to be back into it after decades of neglect and am now beginning to also play OTB.
