So I guess it's not that big a deal, as I was 2298 before this game... but yeah... I did it!

CFC (Canadian) Rating - 2298
I achieved my National Master title in 2013 by scoring 11/15 (10 wins, 2 draws, 3 losses) over three tournaments with consecutive performance scores of 2340, 2368, and 2500 respectively. Many of those games are found annotated in my blog here on chess.com.
Outside of chess, I love sports (or should I say "other sports"?), work as a paramedic in a rural community, and am engaged to a beautiful girl whom I will have the privilege of marrying later this year .
I should also mention that I am currently accepting a couple new students. My services are provided in English (only, unfortunately) via Skype. My rate is $30USD/hr for private lessons which I take a great deal of pride in providing. Discounts are also available for long-term students, juniors, and group lessons. If you are rated between 1500 and 2000, I may be able to help you improve very quickly. I give that rating range for one reason: players under 1500 should save their money and train themselves tactically before seeking any formal training. Both the chess.com 'Tactics Trainer' and www.chesstempo.com are excellent resources for players wishing to improve tactically (I still use both on a regular basis). At any rate, if you are looking for a coach without having to give your entire paycheck to a GM or IM coach, you'll find I'm an excellent teacher. Fire me off a message here on chess.com and we can talk more if you're interested.
