About Me:
Taught myself how to play chess in 2004 while in bed for a week with an ankle injury in Germany. Then became a member, Treasurer, and President of the Assumption College Chess Club, where I played in a few tournaments between colleges.
Favorite openings were 1.e4 (Four Knights & Scotch Game, 2004-06), 1.d4 (Colle-Zuckertort System, 2006-Present), and 1.e4 again (Scotch Gambit, various other systems).
For Black, I like the Scandinavian with 2...Nf6 (2004-Present), as well as the Accelerated Dragon against 1.e4. Against 1.d4, I'll play either the Nimzo, Bogo, or the Dutch, although I'm starting to learn the first two.
