My rating was a 1974 provisional rating with 14 games played. My only rated tourny play since then was about seven yrs. ago in Wilmington, NC and I don't think that the TD submitted the results. Here in the Calabash area, as far as OTB chess goes, it's like a cultural desert. I do get to play with one other person once a week. I am not a chess book person nor do I look for computer help. I juat like to honestly know what my chess ability or lack thereof is.
