im a father and grandfather, of 2 beautiful girls, that mean the world to me! Im in a relationship with a woman in Montreal, with 4 young children who i think the world of, i have an interest in so many things, a thirst for knowledge, im an artist and a bit of a writer, and met so many good decent people on here already, what a great site this is!
i got interested in chess thru my father, back when the Fischer/Spassky world title was being played, i believe in 72', joined a chess club with him way back then....got married, children and chess took a backseat, now in the past several months, its been rekindled, and what a gamut of emotion it can bring! i enjoy different openings, and learning strategy and tactics, this site has been wonderful for that, along with those ive played, whove taught me something each game, my 1st ever tournaments have been on here, and so far, what a treat! thank erik and the staff once again, for a wonderful place to meet and play!
