About Me:
I used to play chess a lot 30 years ago. I took it up again 7 months ago while recovering from a broken shoulder. I was very rusty, played too many people simultaneously, moved too rapidly and thus lost more than I won. I then read a couple of chess books, only played 1 or 2 opponents at a time and thought longer before moving - and I now win more than I lose! It's a great game.
I work rediculously long hours and find chess a great way to relax. I am also a keen amateur (veteren) road cyclist.
