I live with Riitta at a beautiful place of 5000 inhabitants called Pihtipudas, a village in a rural setting and surrounded by wilderness. I have a daughter born in 1987. During my freetime I mostly ski or walk and read books. Occasionally I also do some translation work, write reviews on books and play toto + play chess now that my cousin told me about this wonderful chess forum.
I have played speed chess when I was young, but I have never studied chess theory and know practically nothing about openings et cetera.
