There this really cool pub place called "Tailors on Central" right outside Central Station in Sydney CBD. Every Tuesday night chess players come and play chess starting around 6 pm. At 7:30 pm is poker ($10 gives you steak, chips & salad and a buy in for poker. Prize is around $500!). Beers are $3 schooners hapy hour and $4 after, and happy hour's till 7 pm! And people play chess for loser buy beer. Its a whole load of fun. At midnight I was so drunk and still playing chess! Thanks Jon for introducing me to this! I'm gonna be there every Tuesday eve straight after work! Come join, you'll love it! Bring your board though if you have one. See you there!

Oh, and Thursdays, we play chess too. Happy hour has a thing called "toss the boss" basically you order your drink, the bartender flips a coin and if you call it correctly, your drinks are free, else you just pay the happy hour price of $3 per beer! How cool is that!! I didn't have to pay for any drink last two thrusdays (and we buy like 4 beers each right before the happy hour ends) hehehh. I love Australia & Australians!!! best country, best people!
