About Me:
I'm a 14 year old boy living in Cork, Ireland. My dad is from Tipperary though(also in Ireland) and my mom is from Sydney. I've been in Australia twice the most recent time in 2004. I love chess, have known how to play since I was about 6. I only starting playing competitively and seriously in the last year when I went into secondary school (high school) and was in a class with the All Ireland U14 Chess Champion as well as a few others who like chess. Coincidently my dad knew the All Ireland Champion's dad but we didn't know it until they met at a school team blitz tournament that we were competing in. We came third in that. Oh ya, I go to Christian Brothers College, Cork. We also came third in the All Ireland Colleges Competition, probably would have won, but we had to give away 5 byes in the final since we only had 4 players for all but one game and everyone else had 6. I also play and love basketball. I play the piano too. I love to play pool, snooker and table tennis as well. I support Manchester United FC. I recently won the All Ireland Maths Competition and got a big trophy for the school. I'm very proud of this. I do well in school and like to hang out with my friends, when I'm not on this website! Here are a couple of groups that I manage, I would ask you to join them, especially Glorius Chess of which I'm the leader of:
