About Me:

Hi everyone. I am writing this as of Feb 3 2012. My OTB Rating is 1810 (CFC not USCF), and I am a 14 year old living in Ottawa, Canada. I'm not gonna be saying much about me myself, but mostly about my chess.

I make free videos for a chess.com group called the Optimum. Here are the links to the ones I've made so far :

Live Sessions

Videos

Live Sessions #1 (one 15 10, one 10 0)

Live Sessions #2 (one 15 10, one 10 0, one 5 0)

Live Sessions #3 (two 15 10s, two 5 0s)

Live Sessions #4 (one 15 0, one 10 0, one 5 0)

Live Wager Games

Round 1:

The_Chess_Ninja vs Gopacklittlebro

kid_of_chess vs neeneeboo

The ones under "Live Wager Games" are live commentaries on a live tournament the Optimum is hosting in February. You can view the crosstable here. We're doing another one potetially next month, so join now!

I have two draws with IMs, one in correspondence here on chess.com, and another in an OTB Simul. I will be making vidoes based on those games soon.

My best OTB result is a win over a 2200, from random time scramble complications (though I was winning even before time scramble)

I play Caro-Kann and Sicilian Dragon/Najdorf with black, and 1.e4 and 1.d4 interchangably with White. Thanks for reading my profile, enjoy the videos!

Submitted by kid_of_chess on Feb 13, 2011 11:27am.

So, this game was played in a Najdorf themed tournament, and my 1577 opponent managed to go astray 2 moves in to playing on his own, first with an inaccuracy, next an almost unpardonable blunder. Don't worry, this should only waste about 30 seconds o...Read more »
