Chess has been a passion on mine for many years, since I was 6 or so I have loved it. It has been only in the past few years that I have become determined to improve my game and committed to study it, as I have the time. I tend to be a positional player (too passive?) but lately I have improved tactically too so I am pleased with that. Openings, I try to play good chess moves and stay away from memorizing to many opening lines at least yet. I have other I beleive more pressing issues with my game that I need to work on first. I do like and prefer with white d4 or Nf3 or g3. Black I tend to play c5 or e3 sometimes Nf6. My desire is to learn, improve and have fun, not necessarily in that order, so I take my chess seriously, but not too I think, life is a balance with Christ my Lord my center, my life.
