I hunt, fish, play chess (obviously), volleyball, and like woodworking. I really like pro baseball and football. Also enjoy olympic sports like running, biking and martial arts. Oh yeah, I admire the last American movie hero: John Wayne. There will never be another! Motto: work hard, play hard and do your best at everything.
I've played chess most of my life, on and off. I played tournament chess a long time ago, but it was pretty hard on my body (I'd lose 10-20 lbs on a weekend tourney). I switched to Postal which suited my lifestyle better and won 2 state championships and played the first round of the first email championships. Also just got into a local chess club. I used to drive 30 miles to play but that club folded. Not much else to tell. My games speak for themselves. Some are fair, some daring, some weak, some too predictable, and once in awhile.... a gem. Feel free to test me, but certain times of the year I back off due to work or training, so don't give up if I reject a game. It's just an inconvenient time. Good luck to all!
