I've visited and lived in various countries throughout my life and have experienced a wide variety of cultures and cuisine.

My brother taught me how to play chess years ago as none of his friends knew how to play. I hope I can make him proud. I do prefer to play correspondence chess as I like to be able to have the time to think about my moves, not that it helps me much though ;) I tend to use my live chess games for test purposes only. Currently working on improving my endgame which is seriously bad :(

Over the past twelve years, I've spent a lot of time on the Internet either working, moderating or surfing. I used to moderate quite a few groups on MSN before it was closed. I went back to college as a mature student to do various computer and programming related courses.

In my spare time (yes I have that occassionally   ) I walk my dogs, love the beach, am an addict of the tv show The Big Bang Theory - the episode with the meatloaf has me crying with laughter every time I watch it. I don't have an artistic nature at all but I love taking photographs.  Random fact about me is that I sing contralto.

Work wise -

At Chess.com we’re a small, fun, distributed team sprinkled around the world: from California to Buenos Aires to Poland to Ukraine to Russia to London and we’re all friends :D  Many of us have met in real life which adds to the fun of working together.

I do so many different things on the site from managing support, forum and live moderators, QA (bug testing) features and apps, taking care of live chess and generally attempting to help members get the most out of their experience on Chess.com.
