I do a lot of reading. Not much else to know.
I learned to play chess from an introductory book for the most part. Later,during high school, I played in a local chess club where I learned some of the more common mistakes. I played many informal games in college. After that I took a 15 year break from chess.
My playing style is almost entirely intuitive with very little book learning or formal training.
