Birthday: Jun 13, 1988

Occupation: Student/Future High School Math Teacher

About Me:
I am currently a sophomore at The Ohio State University majoring in math, to eventually be a math teacher. I love computers, math, chess, God, friends, and fun. I am a Catholic. I like strategy games a lot, especially chess, Stratego, Warcraft 3 (for computer), Age of Empires...etc. I make friends easy and try to make a difference in the world. I love Batman (who happens to be the best superhero ever). I am Gabe.

My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I've played since I was like five and I consider myself above average, but not incredibly good. I play for the fun of the game and to learn more. I would like to play in a tourney someday, but for now am happy just playing recreationally. I try my best not to limit who I play-whether your rating is 300 or 2500 I will play you if you wish. I don't limit a seek unless I also make one where I don't. I am always learning more.

Content where I stand

Submitted by medievalchess on Aug 30, 2007 7:42pm.

So after being a member of chess.com for about a month and a half, my rating has gone up and down. As of right now I am over 1500, which I am very happy with. I can tell that over this month and a half of playing games I have improved a lot I believe...Read more »
