About Me:
Well. What to say. I'm 24. I graduated from Oregon State with a degree in History. I am slowly making plans to go back to grad school, but I am not sure where or what field. I can drive but I prefer to bike. During the cold rainy winter months I play more chess and during the warm sunny summer ones I do my best to enjoy the beautiful nature of the Willamette Valley. Ask me anything. As for chess, I don't really have a favorite opening. I suppose this actually hinders my development as a player, but I just play a bit of this and a bit of that, and am reasonable at all of them. I used to really like the Alekhine but I managed to mature enough to stop playing it so heavily. I've started playing the Budapest gambit more as black in the last six or so months. As white I usually go for e4 games, I like the Giuoco Piano, but also play Ruy in blitz, and of course I have to play Nf3 when black responds c5.
