My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
for me, chess = primarily an art form.
1977-1983 - serious chess [incl. correspondence - by postcard.] (newbie in *online* correspondence chess - playing first game as on May 2008 - *here*).
1988-2005 - off serious chess-playing altogether - casual chess w/ friends OTB and on ics/icc. [but I was into analysis/mate-in-2/3 problems/retroanalysis]
2006ff: picking up the threads - re-learning serious chess (fics, now more-and-more here)
OTB FIDE-recognised tournaments - not since 1988.
