Computer engineer during the day. Rock climber on evenings and weekends. Rock drummer in past nights. PhD student in the near future. I just started playing chess a few months ago when I discovered chess.com (well, I didn't discover chess.com like Marie Curie discovered Radium, but you know what I mean). I've always known how to play, but never taken it very seriously. I wouldn't say I'm a "serious" player now, either, but I'm having a good time with it and study/practice on occasion.
