Hi, im patrick. I played chess while i was at primary school. I havn't played for a few years now and felt like a game and beat little comp here (easy) but really enjoyed it and remembered what i was missing. I am studying mental health (psychiatric) nursing HDip/Bsc. I am in my 3rd year and loving every minute of it. Im 35 yrs old. I love music and bands such as Arctic monkeys, stone roses, Kings of leon, Strokes etc Techno and Electro also.
All religions have this in common,that they are an outrage to common sense,for they are pieced together out of veriety of elements some of which seem so unworthy,sordid and at odds with man's reason that any strong and vigorous intelligence laughs at them;but others are so noble,illustrious,miraculous and mysterious that the intellect can make no sense of them and finds them unpalatable. All religions,without exception,share the same characteristics,all discover and publicise miracles,prodigies,oracles,sacred mysteries,saints,prophets,festivals,articles of faith and beliefs necessary for salvation,each pretends to be better and truer than the others.... In religion one finds the most extraordinary claims and the most transparent impostures,but these only serve to inspire the greater reverence and more unquestioning admiration. Ones nation,ones country,ones home determines ones religion. One is of the religion of the place where one was born and brought up.We are circumcised or baptised-Jews or Moslems or christians -before we know we are human beings....
