About Me:

I will spare you the irrelevant information, so what's left to tell you is... I'm 34 years old and back at chess after a 7 year break. I hope I stay interested longer than previously and hope to get my game up! I like playing, enjoy the articles about chess (blogs here and the New In Chess magazine), and I enjoy the social atmosphere my local chess club offers. My level of play varies, and I can enjoy little briliancies (if any!!) as much as horrible blunders. Turn based chess is my favorite here and don't hesitate to use the chat box when you want!

And there is a life besides chess. I like sitting on a chair in a finance department, football and writing, english tv series like "a touch of frost" and my favourite "only fools and horses" and spend the rest of my time boring my lovely wife with all my excuses about spending too much time on chess.com Innocent.

Having nothing important to occupy my brain with, it occurred to me that female chess players are often good looking. Of course there's taste involved, and given the low number of “girls in chess” the outcome of my pondering is statistica...Read more »
