About Me:
I am a Marine Corps veteran and former Parris Island Drill Instructor. I am currently involved with the civilian group, the Marine Corps League. We are involved in many local charities.
I have been married for 25 years and have 2 daughters, a son, and a beautiful 3 year old granddaughter.
I have several collections (pack rat) and my latest interest is in military (Marine Corps) challenge coins.
I played chess decades ago and havent seen a chess board untill last year. Some of my smoking buddies started up the game at our local cigar shop and we cant seem to stop playing, for some strange reason!!
I have never been in any tournaments, I win probably half the time I play. I have good days and then I have bad days. Sometimes I get a little sloppy and loose my concentration. Some days I can beat the best of them, and other times I loose to the weakest player in our group.
I play very much conservatively. Like in cards (poker), I dont like to gamble.
