Hey guys. I figure I'm on this site enough I can give a little blurb about my play. I'm currently 18 years old, and I've been playing chess competitively for about 10 months now. I try to stay active at least in my local club, but I don't usually have the time or the money to travel much.
I like attacking, but I don't try for kingside attacks as much as I simply try to gain some kind of material advantage through tactics. I guess you could say I'm a tactical player. I like mobile, open positions a little better than closed, strategical positions.
I really enjoy the games of Josh Waitzkin, Joel Benjamin, Bobby Fischer, Garry Kasparov, Larry Christiansen, and Magnus Carlson.
