I learned chess a long time ago and played off and on for awhile. When I was in the US Air Force, I got the chance to play overseas where I met some really good players. I had not played in quite awhile when a friend showed me this site. Now I'm back to playing mostly everyday. My highest US Chess OTB rating was 1896, but I haven't played that well in quite some time. It's good to play on a consistent basis again and with different people all over the world.
