About Me:
I'm 25 year old college student majoring in Psychology. I have many loves in my life, chess being one of them. I am more of a thinker, than a doer and I tend to be very introverted, which causes me both stress and relief on a daily basis. I do have a high opinion of myself but I do realize that I'm not perfect. I love listening and playing music. I lean more towards Rock, in general. I also, on occasion, enjoy a cigar (Onyx Black Maduro cigars are exceptional, for those that are interested). Going back to the love's of my life, my family and my girlfriend rank at the top. I'm a bit obsessed with chess, though the time I get to spend playing is dwindling. I have been playing the game since I was 15 when my best friend taught me the basics of playing. Since then, I have grown into a very strong player through trial and error. I always tend to see a well played loss as a learning experience than something to be down about. With that said, I don't feel it necessary to lose every game lol. I often open with a Ruy Lopez or a Queen's Gambit as white. As black, I tend to preferable towards the French Defence or a Sicilian opening. I've attended three tournaments and came in third in one. My top four players has to be Alexander Alekhine, Paul Morphy, Bobby Fischer, and Garry Kasporav.

Well, before I go to bed I want to post on the days adventure in Chess.com land! First thing I noticed was that Chess.com has changed the number of trials in their Tactics Trainer to 3...I wasn't exactly happy with that since that was what attrac...Read more »
