About Me:
I am a graduate student studying mathematics at the University of Texas. Beyond math, I enjoy chess (of course) and entomology. You can see my insect photos here: http://bugguide.net/bgimage/user/9413 . I am married and have 5 cats and a dog.
I prefer correspondence chess and long time control (at least 90 minutes per side) over the board chess, but blitz (at least 5 minutes per side) is also fun. I try to be diverse as a chess player, but my favorite openings include KGA (both sides), Philidor's defense, and the white side of the Sicilian. Anything my opponent doesn't know by heart!
