About Me:
I learned to play chess in high school in the mid 60's. I was inspired by Bobby Fisher as he was emerging as a great. I played chess again in the late 70's and early 80's, but not any organized chess except for a company chess league. Then in 2009 I got interested again in playing chess on internet chess sites such as chess.com.
My approach to learning to chess: study tactics supplemented by a heuristic approach of playing and observing. And don't rush moves as haste makes for mistakes! My 2011 New Year's resolution: 2 minutes per move!
