Enjoy chess (duh) and other games such as backgammon, poker, drafts etc. Man United fan, love boxing and F1. Also a lover of real ales despite not having a beard.
Been playing since I was 7 - taught by my Dad. Really enjoy the social aspect of chess and play regularly in the Manchester and Stockport Leagues.
Best result was 6/11 at the 2003 British Championships in Edinburgh - narrowly missing out on an IM norm in the final round.
Was a talented junior winning the British under 15's and the UK under 14's, under 16's, under 18's and under 21's! Represented England in about 30 games at junior level (losing once).
