About Me:
I have two children, a beautiful wife and live in Foster City, about 20 miles south of San Francisco.
Since I don't have time to study openings, I often try to guide the game into familiar lines. As white, I try to get into a king's indian-type set-up. As, black, I play french or scandanavian against e4 type openings and I try to play king's indian set-ups otherwise. My somewhat unorthodox opening lines and defenses sometimes take my oponent out of the opening book and long prepared lines. I then rely on strong middle game play and a decent endgame to take me to a good result.
When I'm not playing chess and being a parent, I work at Yahoo!.
