30-something, mother of two, married for 16 years
B.S. in Accounting, worked for 5 yrs before deciding to stay home with my children. When not teaching (at home), I am busy with music, writing, reading, working out, or a crossword puzzle. In warmer weather, I get to the beach at every opportunity.
Goals this year: improve chess game, run some 5Ks (my first ever), and complete a book that's been "in the works" for awhile.
So...who am I? I've talked about the peripheral "things" that I enjoy, the blessings I've been given, and my interests, but my LIFE is in Jesus. I believe He is who He says He is. I embrace it, I try to live it, and all my hope is in it ...for today and for the days to come.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I taught my kids to play last year, but haven't played much at all myself. My friend Sharon told me about chess.com in a Christmas note, and I joined as a way to stay in touch. I had no idea I'd enjoy it so much, or get to meet so many interesting folks from around the world.
