One day 6 years ago I went to a medieval times like fair, there was a man there standing in front of a giant chess board waiting for anyone to challenge him, soon a young boy not more than 8 or 9 made the offer to challenge although he lost it seemed to be quite a close game, at the time, I knew little of chess not more than how the pieces moved. It was that day I decided that I would learn to play, that spark ignited a raging fire within! Since there has not been a day that passed that I did not have some contact with the game. Never realized the depth and complexity of the game, the more I learned the more I realized this is no ordinary game, that it had some sort of magical mystique that could not be escaped. Soon I developed dozens of other relationships because of the game, such as GM Babakuli Annakov who is not only my coach and the coach of our chess team but my very close friend and GM Susan Polgar as well. I now Sponsor a chess team Prodigy Knights. We have a website www.prodigyknights.com I have several kids ranging in ages from 8 - 16 with elo's ranging from 1500 - 2200 and they play in regular tournaments all over the world including the World Youth Championship that was held in Brazil this last year. Please check out our Website to see players and there rankings along with their individual chess accomplishments.
