I love music and love playing guitar and singing and writing and performing. I play originals as well as cover my favorites which include Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Wilco, Ryan Adams, and other Alt. Country, Outlaw Country, Folk, and Rock. I started playing chess at age 6, playing with both my dad and an uncle. I have played a lot in college and grad school. I usually win my games, but I am not too sure if my competition was ever very good. I have been a high school and college head baseball and high school JV basketball coach, high school teacher, elementary teacher, school councelor, and served on a school board. Most of my jobs have consisted of working with young people whether elementary, youth teens, or college age. In early 2011, I went to Ukraine to work with orphans. I have lived and coached in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and New York. I have traveled most of the USA, Mexico, Canada, Israel, Jordan, Ukraine, and been in Poland and hope to keep traveling the world! Now, I am living in Yalta, Ukraine once again. I spent part of 5 months in Yalta in 2011 and started youth baseball there and helped teach English. After going to Florida for the winter, I came back to Yalta in March 2012. I hope to spend a lot of time here in the next several years.
