Bought a chess set for my dad (87 y/o) for Christmas and promised to play him. He taught me everything I know about chess when I was a kid but agonized me with 40 minute+ moves (no timer). I have not played for decades but have found in Chess.com a happy medium and many potential new friends.
Even taught my wife to play!!!!
