hi, I'm john from malta, 35 years. I don't have a rating right now but i used to when I was much younger - 14 years old - I think it was 1700-something, probably just under 1700 . Unfortunately, over the years, I kind of lost interest in the game and forgot all about it. Until a year ago. Now I am trying to remember and regain the skills I had and, hopefully, to acquire new ones. My favorite chess master has always been the great Bobby Fischer, but I am also a fan of A. Alekhine, R. Capablanca, and T.Petrosian. Out of the contemporary masters, I like best the current world champion - Vishy Anand, the Chinese superGM Bu Xiangzhi and the Iranian GM Ehas Qaem Magham. My favorite chess game of all time - Bobby Fischer vs D.Byrne, 1956, of course!!!!
