I'm originally from San Bernardino(Rialto), CA., but my home for the time being is Saint Paul, MN. I teach math at a community college in Minneapolis. I enjoy reading, playing with my two dogs, walking, and watching NFL football. I love chess because there is so much math in the game, from the very simple to the very complicated. Chess is like a workout for the brain. My brother(old metrodome) taught me to play when I was a teenager, but I really started playing more when one of my sisters bought me an electronic game. I hope to play with my brother now that I'm on chess.com and anyone else when time permits. I still consider myself somewhat of a beginner because I haven't been playing consistently over the years. Hopefully I'll get better.
