I like Chess a LOT! Fortunately, my wife, kids & grandkids are supportive & cheer me on!! i much prefer to play opponents who have on-line ratings of no less than 100 pounts than I do. it's just not as challenging to play against those who are consistently under 1700. My lovely wife also prefers that my opponents be ALL MEN! Afrer over 27 years if a blisful marriage, I don't mind humoring her little quirk. LOL! Though I enjoy fast chess with highlight - slow chess is satisfying time for deeper looks into the patterns.
