Occupation: website design
My uncle who is now 95 taught me how to play chess when I was 5 (a mere 53 years ago). I would have the game all set up at his place at the dinner table and he would come home in his RCA TV repairman uniform every night, and we'd play while he ate his dinner. But I never took chess seriously until I joined Chess.com in September 2010. Now I am a shameless addict.
I came to Chess.com feeling extremely shy about interaction with other players but I was drawn inexorably by my curiosity about the game. Now I find I actually look forward to my chats with my chess opponents and get lots of joy from these exchanges.
I lived in the Philadelphia area for many years, then moved to Tucson in the early 90s.
This is my website design biz: http://wildbluepixel.com .
