Started playing chess in the early 1970's. The Fischer-Spassky match really got me interested in the game. Played alot of chess back then. I married my childhood sweetheart ( who I adore ) in 1978. We raised two sons and just loved it. We had alot of fun. I quit playing chess for more than 25 years. It was my sons that got me started playing on the internet. They thought it would be good for me and they were right. Played at a couple different sites for a couple years. Found this site and really like it here.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I don't really have a style that I know of. I just enjoy playing. It is a royal game that pits one against another. No luck involved, you either find the right move or you don't. Really like reading about the history of chess, the players from years gone by. Love the articles here at this site....... so many talented writers.
