About Me:
Hi all, I am Magesh from India. I became a GM in 2005 by tying for first place in the World Open in Philadelphia. I completed my Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
I accidentally started playing chess when i was about 7. Just picked up the game from my brother and my parents. I am ever grateful for the fate or whatever people would call it, but playing chess has made me who i am today. I believe in developing one's character more than the craving for success and i believe its a sport that can teach the right ingridients for that.
