My Friend Requesting Policy
Please DON'T friend me when I DON'T KNOW YOU!!! This is common sense in my opinion but people still do it. I will accept friend requests if you've played a few games with me or you've chatted with me in the forums or one of my groups, and I feel you're a nice person.
My Tourney Invite Policy
I am not taking any invites at the moment unless the tournament is for one of my groups only and I have the time. Thanks.
My Challenging Policy
If you wish to play against me, I will not take a 1 day or 2 day per move challenge. I will not take a challenge against a player rated lower than 1200 Elo (although I will gladly accept a challenge from a 2500 Elo
) and I will not take a challenge that is unrated or takeback (unless I ask for it or it is for coaching purposes). I will not take a challenge from a player who has over 30% timeout or has had many recent timeouts, or has over 75 other games going on.
My Group Invite Policy
Please don't invite me into your group if you don't think I'll be interested in it. I will not join a group with no specific purpose (there are just too many of those, although the ones I'm in are amazing). I will not join a group that does not play team matches or vote chess, unless it is something off-topic that I'm interested in. I will not join a group with an average rating under 1500, other than the ones I am in currently.

Chess.com Tournament Titles
♖♘♗♕♔♗♘♖
I'm proud to say that I've been part of the Chess.com family since 15 November 2007!
WHAT ABOUT VIOLIN??? VIOLIN IS AWESOME.
SO IS JASCHA HEIFETZ.
AND GREGOR PIATIGORSKY.
AND ARTUR RUBINSTEIN, AND NATHAN MILSTEIN, AND ITZHAK PERLMAN, AND VLADIMIR HOROWITZ...AND...AND...AND....................
BUT JASCHA HEIFETZ IS THE BEST.
(AND IN MY OPINION, THE UNOFFICIAL HEIFETZ WEBSITE IS 10X BETTER THAN THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE BUT I'LL HYPERLINK IT ANYWAY
)
IF YOU LOVE AVATAR, AVATAR FANS IS YOUR GROUP.

Below are groups I manage that you might find interesting.
The first group - in bold - is the largest, and the name says it all: e4, Best by Test! However, I focus on QUALITY of members rather than NUMBER of members, so the group has been made semi-private (apply and get accepted or via invitation only) and I choose new members very carefully. Thank you!

Very restrictive group:

My favorite opening is the Ruy Lopez Opened Line as White and the Alapin Sicilian as black. I also like the Najdorf Sicilian and Accelerated Dragon. I've used Philidor's Legacy and Smothered Mates before and they are my favorite checkmate techniques.
Aaannnddd...here's Jack Benny. One of the greatest showbiz stars ever. Please disregard the Lucky Strike commercials
King Elvis in the 1957 Jailhouse Rock:
Jascha Heifetz, the king of all:
GUESS WHAT?
...?
...??
...???
I have a new obsession named Jack Benny in addition to Jascha Heifetz.
Dramatic, right?
Actually I have a lot of obsessions that are old. Like Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley and Bob Hope and Gracie Allen. And movies like Casablanca and Rebel Without a Cause.
I don't know why. I stereotypically shouldn't...I'm not getting any older. I mean younger.
My best games out of my recent ones:
