I picked up chess @18 and got hooked. I also like to program and do the usual geeky sci fi stuff. I play all types of turn-based Chess and website server chess. My average rating on all those sites is between 1700 to 2000. I miss the live human chess but where I live makes it kinda hard to find a game. Thank God for sites like chess.com!!! I enjoy gambit openings and the aggresive attacking style of play. Tactics really make the game fun. Gary Kasparov and Susan Polgar are my 2 favorite players.
