About Me:
I am a college student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and my major is Occupational Safety and Health. I have been playing chess off and on for almost two years. I really enjoy playing chess because it is very creative. Also, I have a wonderful girlfriend who is nice enough to play chess with me. Sometimes, haha.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I hate closed games. Every time I play a closed game I just don't feel it. It is too positional, and I have to fret over every single move. I prefer open or semi-open games. I can be more tactical and use my Queen and Bishops better.
My favourite chess players are Bobby Fischer and Mikhail Tal. Fischer was bloody brilliant and played so beautifully, and Tal was an amazing and inspiring attacker.
I study chess a lot and I hope to start playing in tournaments and get a USCF rating, but before I do that I have to improve A LOT.
