About Me:
Hi, I'm Wicksta85, a.k.a. Speedbump. I am a high school junior in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. In school, I enjoy math, and of course lunch! In my spare time, I play a considerable amount of chess, along with a few other hobbies. I thouroughly enjoy playing Ultimate frisbee, and my team travels throughout the midwest. In addition, I enjoy my church youth group, Younglife, and tennis. I am also a huge sports fan; my favorite teams are the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, and the NC State Wolfpack.
While playing chess, I generally open with e4. As black, I play the tarrasch against d4 and kings pawn openings against e4. My rating is most likely near 1400 USCF. Also, I am currently 2nd board on my high school chess team. Our team has been champions of our league the last 5 years, going a combined 83-1-6. Hopefully we can repeat last year's undefeated season again this year!
Online, I tend to take a more professional approach to the community. I am hoping to major in finance in college, so the practice can't hurt! I am currently looking at the University of Alabama, Auburn University, and Clemson University.
