Hello. My name is Buzatu Adrian. I am from Romania. My hobbies or more-than-hobbies include: chess, music, cinematography, literature and IT. I am currently working as a web developer.
Chess:
I am more of a combinative player, rather than a positional one, but I enjoy also a good positional play, especially on the long run, when I am not always willing to risk on a catchy combination upon which;s functionality I am not certain. My fave games are the long games, the longer, the better(as you can see in the huge differnce between my blitz rating, and my online chess/corresp rating). I am open to any challenges, rating is not important. Sometimes I may decline them b ecause I have to many games or I have a busy period and don;t have time to focus on new games.
Fave openings: King's Indian, Ruy Lopez Cigorin Variation(white), Berlin defense(black), The PIRC Austrian Attack(Pirc-white), Alekhine Defense(though I rarely used it) and so forth.
P.S(to the web developing team)(regarding "live chess"): Pleeease do something about it. It is really buggy. For example, in a considerable number of games, the opponent (and maybe even me, who knows) gained a 1 second or some miliseconds, even if the game was not with bonus time/per move.
