Just a quick addition....I am a greeter, which means I play unrated games with the new members of this site. The games are turn based which means you have 3 days to make a move and when I get online I will make mine. If we are on at the same time then we can get in multiple moves. So, if you are new and happen to be checking this out please be patient and a recommendation...Start multiple games so when you log in you will have plenty of moves to make and games to occupy your chess interest. Thanks and GOOD LUCK TO ALL (but slightly more to me!!)

I am a laid back person, I like to talk and I like to help those that ask for it and those that don't. I'm learning on the don't help unless asked part!!! LOL!!!
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I have been playing chess off and on my whole life. I was in the chess club in High School and me and a few friends would play all day long. I then went years without playing before I started picking up the game again. I enjoy the stimulation you get and of course I like the feeling of victory!!! WooHoo!!! GO ME!!!
I have just started playing again after a break so I am a little rusty, when I say I have just started again this is dated on 2/14/08. So if you are reading this and it is like months or years later then I just never updated it.

Here is a 2 move checkmate that is only possible for black to use...I think it would be a very inexperienced player for this to happen. This is the quickest I have found to mate someone!!!...Read more »
