Thoughts about Chess, Books and Culture on Twitter
When I was 6 years old my father taught me chess. Since then the passion for this game is alive. With 14 I began playing tournaments and won my first title. With 16 I played for the national junior team. I had the opportunity to learn from great masters with whom I analysed and played blitz games: GM Peter Leko, GM Jan Smejkal, GM Wahls, IM Moldovan.
During my chess career I won and drew some games in official tournaments against good players: won against GM Nenashev (Elo 2605) and drew against IM Stipunsky now GM (Elo 2565).
Tournaments which I won: Open in Kaiserslautern 2007 and Schweinfurt 2008.
Now I have a chess teaching experience of 20 years and my students won different titles: bavarian championship, regional competitions.
The main topics of the lessons are complex endgames and middlegame structures.
I teach chess because I want to impart values which are important in life: to take responsibility for your decisions, be honest with the realities as they are here and now and to have a healthy selfesteem regarding the own capacity to think independently.
