The 13th Poikovsky Tournament in honour of Anatoly Karpov takes place from 28 September - 7 October in Russia.

The tournament is a 10-player single round robin with an international field. Games start at 15:00 local time (09:00 UTC) and 3 October is a rest day.

Sadly, for such an interesting tournament, there is little publicity or coverage available in English.  The official site (in Russian) is here.

Last year's winner Etienne Bacrot is absent this time, but the line-up is impressive.
