1st BTP Chess Tourney - FINALS

Here is the list of qualifiers and pairings:

As agreed in the previous posts here and group notes, the games will be played simultaneously so that we can finish this Finals at the earliest possible time ...

So, all players are enjoined to issue challenge (when you are white) to your respective opponents ... the mechanics is the same -- it must bear the correct game title -- for example jhemit will issue challenges for games "1st BTP Chess Tourney-Game 21",  "1st BTP Chess Tourney-Game 24", and  "1st BTP Chess Tourney-Game 30" to opponents "jocelasi", "bobadillamitchelle" & "simpleguy1423", respectively  ... any question, just contact me ... i'm just a message away ...

we have done this before already in the eliminations, so I expect you know the drill already ...

since there are no one from the qualifiers responded to my post re start og Finals tomorrow 17 Oct, I decided to postpone it and give them enough time to respond and also give consideration to those who might be affected by recent flooding in MM and nearby provinces ... so the new schedule for start of 1BTP Finals willl be on the 7th November ...

4 (i.e. bobadillamitchille, simpleguy1423, jocelasi & topzero) of the 6 qualifiers agreed to my suggestion for simultaneous play of the each players games in the Final Rounds ... and even I never heard anything from the other 2 qualifiers (jhemit & EMMANUELASI), it's already a majority vote and we will push thru with that format ...

my target date is to start the final games on October 17 (Saturday) and hopefully, we can finish all games before end of this year ...

To all Final Rounds Qualifiers,

as you all know we started the elimination rounds on 01 June 2009 and we completed today -- so, it took us more than 3 months to complete ...

due to this I am proposing that we start all games at same time ... meaning each player will be playing all his 5 games at the same time ... with that, we can expect to finish early ...
