2010 Leon Magistral Rapidplay

The annual rapidplay event in Leon, Spain runs from 3-7 June and features Lev Aronian, Boris Gelfand, Leinier Dominguez and Paco Vallejo.

The format is a KO system, with paired players playing four rapid games (20 minutes plus 10 second increment).  Blitz tiebreaks and a possible armageddon game will be used if necessary.

The first semi-final is on Friday, and the second on Saturday, before the final on Sunday.  The action starts each day at 16:30 local time.

Also, on Monday Lev Aronian wil be giving a simul against 25 amateurs.

@ Chessy4000 - Carlsen is playing in the Bazna Kings tournament in Romania from 14-25 June.  Kramnik is playing in Dortmund in July.
